Kittens Available

   

Shaineh Cattery is located in Oakville, Ontario about 20 minutes from the Toronto International Airport. We have no problem shipping cats but we prefer direct flights.

We breed for health and temperament first and foremost and our pet kittens are spayed or neutered prior to going to their new homes. All kittens are sold with a contract and a health guarantee. The breeding cats live with us and we consider them to be also our pets and our special friends. The kittens are raised with a dog, five permanent pet cats, and have lots of people-handling which makes them very well socialized. Showing cats is lots of fun and our kittens and cats seem to enjoy it too.

Most of our kittens are spoken for before, or shortly after, they are born. Practically every colour or pattern is possible from our Devon Rex lines. The Sphynx kittens come in all possible colours.

Occasionally, a young retired breeding cat is available for adoption to an exceptional home.

Here all of Buttercup's and Liana's kittens together. They are playing with each other and climbing out of the kitten cage by themselves.

My beautiful Matilde had such stunning kittens again and I had a very difficult time deciding which one to keep. This tortie and white female is available and she's magnificent!

This is Matrix. He's the father of Matilde's kittens and Bebhinn's kittens. He's a handsome boy with tons of personality. Matrix is an F-2 which means that his mother was a normal-coated cat from a Sphynx/Domestic Shorthair breeding. Hybrid breeding gives us a wider gene pool and healthier cats.

Here's another picture of Matrix. He's the sire of Bebhinn's five kittens.

 

Laudie is a Chocolate Silver Patched Tabby. She is a lovely young cat who would like to retire from breeding and go to a new home with her male kitten. Her two babies are just a week old and both are chocolate points. They will have blue eyes.
 

Laudie only had two kittens but they are so cute. At one week of age, their eyes are open and they are healthy and fat. They will be chocolate points and have stunning blue eyes. It's been a long time since there were pointed kittens born at Shaineh cattery.

 
 

Bebhinn is a Silver Patched Tabby and White Sphynx momcat who is an amazing mother. She had five kittens in less than two hours and she did everything perfectly. I think she wrote the book on how kittening is supposed to go. She loves her babies and they are very fat and healthy at one week of age.

Bebhinn finally took a break from her kittens to watch the birds and the leaves falling. She's got such a lovely expression and her personality is just as sweet. She purrs the loudest and she gives lots of head-butts.
